WHEN THE DANCER YOU HAVE LOVED WALKS OUT THE DOOR
(Tim Norell – Björn Håkanson)
From “CUTTING CORNERS” (1982)
It was a simple story of provocation
No claim of fame no glory - just aggravation
That might be an answer fading away
Running like a shadow wanting to stay
Oh-oh
It was a simple story
Burning hot and learning
When you tip toe cross the floor
It’s hard to face the music
When the dancer you have loved walks out the door
Burning hot and learning
Like I’ve frozen picture frame
No one else can help me stop the pain
There’s not a hint of Christie, no investigation
At times my mind goes misty to much sedation
All that midnight phantoms sharing my bed
Mixing up the reasons inside my head
Oh-oh
It was a simple story
Burning hot and learning
When you tip toe cross the floor
It’s hard to face the music
When the dancer you have loved walks out the door
Burning hot and learning
When you tip toe cross the floor
It’s hard to face the music
When the dancer you have loved walks out the door
No one else can help me stop the pain
Burning hot and learning
When you tip toe cross the floor
It’s hard to face the music
When the dancer you have loved walks out the door
Burning hot and learning
Like I’ve frozen picture frame
No one else can help me stop the pain
No claim of aim no glory - just degradation ->
No claim of fame no glory - just aggravation
Crawling like a shadow wanting to stay ->
Running like a shadow wanting to stay
Burning heart too learning ->
Burning hot and learning
It’s hard to face a music ->
It’s hard to face the music
Like I froze on picture frame ->
Like I’ve frozen picture frame
Like I frozen picture frame,
There’s not a hint of priesting, no investigation ->
There’s not a hint of Christie, no investigation
At dance my mind resisting to much citation ->
At times my mind goes misty to much sedation
All that midnight fair dolls sharing my bed ->
All that midnight phantoms sharing my bed
RAINY DAY MEMORIES
(Tim Norell – Björn Håkanson)
From “CUTTING CORNERS” (1982)
{Breeze sends} her arms can’t be answered
Hiding like {twins / twirls} full of fright
Rise don’t sweep by {on sale}
Will only last through the night
Gently a trace of your sorrow
Finds a way back to my eyes
{This smallest turn} dreams in life
Fades while the summer rain {cries / dries}
Rainy day memories
Chasing the mysteries
Fly like the wind through my head
Rainy day memories
{Got in my / guided by} fantasies
That follow me everywhere
That follow me everywhere
Illusions of time in a photo
Catching your smile by surprise
Facing the winds of change
Echoing over goodbyes
Rainy day memories
Chasing the mysteries
Fly like the wind through my head
Rainy day memories
{Got in my / guided by} fantasies
That follow me everywhere
That follow me everywhere
1. {Breeze sends} her arms can’t be answered
Hiding like {twins / twirls} full of fright
Rise don’t sweep by {on sale}
2. {This smallest turn} dreams in life - тоже неокончательный вариант.
3. Fades while the summer rain {cries / dries} -
4. Fly like the wind through my hair ->
Fly like the wind through my head
5. {Got in my / guided by} fantasies -
